Karachi: Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited has been given an extension by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, as well as for filing its first quarterly accounts for the period ending March 31, 2025. This extension was communicated in a letter dated April 8, 2025.
The SECP has approved the company to delay the AGM and the submission of its quarterly accounts until May 30, 2025, effectively granting a 30-day extension for both obligations. This decision provides the company with additional time to prepare and present its financial documentation to stakeholders.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the extension is expected to be communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange. The move comes as part of routine administrative adjustments, ensuring that the company meets its regulatory requirements within the revised timeline.
The Pakistan International Container Terminal operates within the market category designated for logistics and transportation services on the PSX. The granted extension aligns with regulatory practices and supports the company's ongoing financial planning and reporting efforts.
