Karachi: The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has clarified its position regarding recent speculations in the media about a reform plan that could impact its operations. In a statement issued in response to an inquiry dated July 14, 2025, the corporation emphasized that the reform plan mentioned in various news articles is still in its preliminary phase and is being deliberated at the Federal Government level.

The PNSC stated that the proposed reform plan is aimed at the shipping industry as a whole, including the PNSC. However, as of now, the corporation has not received any formal communication or directive that would affect its financial performance. The corporation further noted that, based on the current information, the news is not considered price sensitive. Consequently, the PNSC does not deem it necessary to make any specific disclosure at this stage.
