Karachi: Pakistan Oilfields Limited has announced that the Razgir-1 well, located within the TAL Block, has commenced production as of October 12, 2025. This development follows the necessary regulatory approvals, marking a significant milestone in the company's ongoing exploration efforts.

According to the formal communique, the Razgir-1 well is situated at the Tolanj Production Facility, and its contribution to the company's output is being gradually increased. By the end of the day, the well is anticipated to achieve a production flow rate of 25.1 million cubic feet per day of gas, alongside a production of 333 barrels per day of condensate. This information is consistent with previous testing results from the Lumshiwal, Kawagarh, and Lockhart formations, as detailed in earlier correspondence dated July 29, 2024, August 06, 2024, and August 19, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Pakistan Oilfields Limited holds a 25% pre-commerciality working interest in the Razgir-1 well.
