Karachi: Pakistan Petroleum Limited has issued a notice regarding the book closure for its upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), slated for September 15, 2026. The meeting will focus on the election of directors for the company.
This announcement follows a previous communication dated August 11, 2026, and is in accordance with Rule 5.5.11 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rules. The EGM will be held both in-person at the company’s Karachi office and via video conferencing, with proceedings set to begin at 11:00 AM.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the register of members and the share transfer books of Pakistan Petroleum Limited will be closed from September 9, 2026, through September 15, 2026, inclusive. Only individuals registered as members by September 8, 2026, will be eligible to attend and participate in the meeting.
The company has also noted that previous book closure dates communicated in a letter dated July 31, 2026, have been canceled, emphasizing the importance of the updated schedule for all stakeholders involved.
