Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has announced that its 77th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is set to take place on October 28, 2024. The meeting will be held at Karachi and will be accessible through a video-conferencing facility to accommodate remote participants.
The agenda for the meeting includes the reception and adoption of the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, along with reports from the Directors and Auditors. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders will also vote on a proposal recommended by the Board of Directors to approve a final cash dividend of Re. 1 per share, representing a 10% dividend for the financial year.
Additionally, the AGM will address the appointment of auditors for the coming fiscal year, which ends June 30, 2025. The Board, advised by the Audit Committee, has nominated M/s. A.F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of the PWC network, to continue in this role until the next AGM.
