Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced an extension in the auction timing for the Government of Pakistan Ijarah Green Sukuk (GIGS) in response to multiple requests from market participants. The decision, issued in PSX Notice# PSX/N-500 dated May 13, 2025, aims to facilitate a smoother bidding process by providing additional time for submissions. The auction, originally scheduled to conclude at 12:00 PM, has now been extended to 01:00 PM.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this one-time extension is implemented to encourage broader participation and ensure an orderly auction process. The auction will now open at 10:00 AM and close at 01:00 PM on May 16, 2025. Market participants are advised to take note of the revised timeline to ensure their bids are submitted within the new timeframe.
