Karachi, The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed significant activity in the aluminum sector on March 20, 2024, with Pakistan Aluminum Companies experiencing noticeable price movements. This activity was evident across various trading metrics, including opening and closing prices, stock lows and highs, and total shares traded.

Pakistan Aluminum (PABC) saw its stock open at a price of 71.49 and close higher at 72.24, with the stock reaching a low of 71.11 and a high of 71.97 during the trading session. A total of 835,448 shares were traded, with the closing price settling at 70.61.

In the futures market, the PABC-APR contract, despite not having an opening or closing price, marked a significant stock high at 73.89, with the closing price noted at 72.55.

The PABC-MAR contract opened at 72 and closed slightly higher at 72.5, with the stock low and high recorded at 71.9 and 71.97, respectively. A total of 17,500 shares were traded, and the closing price was adjusted to 72.

Meanwhile, the PABC-MAY contract, which did not register an opening or closing price, saw a notable stock high at 75.71, with the closing price being adjusted to 74.33.
