Pakistan Stock Exchange Updates Constituents of Mahaana Islamic Index

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has announced a rebalancing of the Mahaana Islamic Index (MII30), effective April 30, 2025. This recalibration is based on data as of April 15, 2025, in accordance with the index rules outlined on the PSX website. The adjustments affect the weights of the constituent companies within the index.

The revised weights for the MII30 constituents have been released, with Mari Energies Limited holding the largest weight at 9.90%. Engro Fertilizers Limited and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited follow closely, with weights of 8.31% and 8.28%, respectively. The Hub Power Company Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited also hold significant positions within the index, with weights of 7.37% and 7.45%.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), other notable constituents include Meezan Bank Limited at 6.38% and Systems Limited at 6.06%. Lucky Cement Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited are assigned weights of 5.83% and 5.32%, respectively. Meanwhile, Engro Holdings Limited has a revised weight of 5.36%.

The index also includes companies with smaller weights, such as Faysal Bank Limited at 1.06%, Pak Elektron Limited at 1.09%, and Packages Limited at 0.93%. The rebalancing exercise affects a total of 30 companies, each with varying degrees of influence on the overall index performance.
