Karachi: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has scheduled a board meeting for October 14, 2024, to discuss its quarterly financial results, the company disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
On October 4, 2024, PTCL notified the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange that its board of directors would meet on October 14 at Islamabad. The agenda includes the examination of the quarterly accounts for the period ending September 30, 2024, and the declaration of any entitlements for shareholders.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company also announced a closed period from October 4 to October 14, during which directors, the CEO, or any executive are prohibited from trading the company's shares. This measure adheres to the PSX regulations, specifically rule 5.6.1(d), to prevent insider trading during significant financial disclosures.
The company has also advised the holders of the TRE Certificate of the exchange to take note of the closed period.
