Karachi: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has announced a change in its board of directors, effective January 12, 2026. This development follows a change in the company’s management that led to the resignation of Mr. Abdulrahim A. Al Nooryani from his position as Director on the board.
In response to this resignation, PTCL has appointed Mr. Khalifa Al Shamsi to the board as a new Director, starting the same day. The restructured board now comprises nine members, including Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan, who serves as the Chairman. The other members of the board include Mr. Ahad Khan Cheema, Mr. Imdad Ullah Bose, Mr. Jawad Paul Khawaja, Ms. Brooke Marie Lindsay, Mr. Khaled Hegazy, Mr. Nazih El Hassanieh, and Mr. Marwan Bin Shakar.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these changes in the company’s leadership are part of a broader strategic initiative aimed at enhancing governance and operational efficiency. The alterations are expected to be communicated promptly to the certificate holders of the exchange.
