Karachi: Power Cement Limited has scheduled its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 24, 2024. The meeting will take place at the PSX Auditorium, located in Karachi. Additionally, stakeholders can participate virtually via a video-link facility.

The agenda for the AGM includes several key items. Firstly, the minutes of the previous AGM held on October 25, 2023, will be confirmed. Secondly, shareholders are to receive, consider, and adopt the annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024, including the Directors' and Auditors' reports.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), another significant item on the agenda is the re-appointment of the company's auditors. The current auditors, M/s. A. F. Ferguson and Co., Chartered Accountants, are retiring but are eligible and have offered themselves for re-appointment. Their remuneration for the upcoming fiscal year, ending June 30, 2025, will also be determined at this meeting.
