PSX Announces Compliance Deadline for Three Companies

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange has placed three companies, SME Leasing Limited (SLL), Sitara Peroxide Limited (SPL), and Bela Automotives Limited (BELA), under scrutiny for failing to meet their financial obligations, specifically the Annual Listing Fee and SECP supervisory fee, as per the regulations. The notification, issued on October 21, 2026, highlights non-compliance with PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(d), effective October 22, 2026.

These companies are already listed in the Non-Compliant Segment or Winding-up Segment for various regulatory breaches. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), SLL has been forwarded to the SECP for further action under PSX Regulation 5.11.3.(g), while SPL and BELA have been given a compliance deadline of January 19, 2027, as per Clause 5.11.3.(c) of the PSX Regulations. Failure to rectify the non-compliance within this period may result in the issuance of a Risk Warning Alert.

The PSX emphasizes that if the companies rectify the specific non-compliance within the stipulated period, they will continue to be quoted in the Non-Compliant Segment or Winding-up Segment due to other existing regulatory breaches. This action underscores the PSX's commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and transparency in the market.
