Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has announced the re-composition of the KSE-30 Index for the review period from January 1, 2024, to June 28, 2024. This change, guided by the rules set forth on the PSX website, includes alterations in the constituent companies of the index.
The revision will see the inclusion of five new companies into the KSE-30 Index, namely Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, Fauji Cement Company Limited, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited, Pioneer Cement Limited, and Pak Elektron Limited. Concurrently, five companies will be removed from the index, including Cherat Cement Company Limited, Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited, Shell Pakistan Limited, TPL Properties Limited, and TRG Pakistan Limited. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these changes will be implemented starting September 16, 2024.
The newly adjusted KSE-30 Index as of June 28, 2024, lists several prominent companies across diverse sectors. The Hub Power Company Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited, and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited are among those that continue to be part of the index, alongside other key players such as Lucky Cement Limited and United Bank Limited.
