Rebalancing of Alfalah Consumer Index ETF Commences

Karachi: Alfalah Consumer Index ETF (ACIETF) has begun the process of rebalancing its portfolio, as mandated by the Securities Act of 2015 and PSX Regulations. Starting from on October 8, 2024, the fund has initiated its rebalancing and reallocation activities, set to adjust its holdings to better align with its investment objectives.

As of September 30, 2024, the Alfalah Consumer Index ETF underwent a scheduled rebalancing. This action is in compliance with regulatory requirements and aims to maintain the ETF’s adherence to its strategic investment benchmarks. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the current iNAV (Intraday Net Asset Value) published during this rebalancing phase may not reflect the actual value of the underlying assets in the ETF. The Alfalah team has emphasized that the iNAV figures circulated during this period should not be considered a precise market valuation.

The management of ACIETF has assured stakeholders that an official update will be provided once the reallocation process is complete. Additionally, the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange have been advised of these changes to ensure transparency and compliance with the ongoing portfolio adjustments.

This strategic rebalancing is expected to enhance the performance of the ACIETF by optimizing its asset allocation according to the latest market conditions and investment trends. Stakeholders are advised to stay informed through official channels for updates on the completion of the portfolio’s reallocation.
