Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange has announced revised trading and settlement schedules for the deliverable future contracts of The Hub Power Company Limited. This adjustment follows the company's announcement of a book closure date, impacting DFC-MAR-2025 and DFC-APR-2025 contracts.
According to the revised schedule, the trading and settlement for the DFC-MAR-2025 contract on a cum-benefit basis will commence on December 30, 2024, a Monday, and will close on March 3, 2025, also a Monday, with settlement occurring on March 5, 2025, a Wednesday. For the DFC-APR-2025, trading will begin on February 3, 2025, a Monday, and will similarly close on March 3, 2025, with settlement on March 5, 2025.
The schedule for trading without the entitlement of benefits will see the DFC-MAR-2025B contract opening on February 27, 2025, a Thursday, and closing on March 27, 2025, with settlement on April 3, 2025, a Thursday. The DFC-APR-2025B contract will open on February 27, 2025, and close on April 25, 2025, a Friday, with settlement on April 29, 2025, a Tuesday.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), trades executed under the MARB and APRB contracts will not be eligible for benefits, as these will be traded on an ex-benefit basis. The overlapping period for the security will last for three trading days, from February 27, 2025, to March 3, 2025.
The PSX reserves the right to amend or adjust the dates or duration of these contracts if necessary. The designated market category for these transactions remains unchanged.
