Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced a revised trading and settlement schedule for the deliverable future contracts (DFC) of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LOTCHEM) due to the company's book closure date announcement. The affected contracts include DFC-AUG-2025, DFC-SEP-2025, and DFC-OCT-2025, initially notified through PSX/N-565, PSX/N-690, and PSX/N-806 on May 30, June 27, and July 25, 2025, respectively.
The revised schedule specifies that for Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited, the trading and settlement on a cum-benefit basis will be as follows: the August contract opened on June 2, 2025, will close on August 11, 2025, with settlement on August 13, 2025. Similarly, the September and October contracts, which opened on June 30 and July 28, 2025, respectively, will also close on August 11, 2025, with settlement on August 13, 2025.
The trading and settlement schedule without entitlement to benefits has also been outlined. The August B contract will open on August 7, 2025, close on August 29, 2025, with settlement on September 2, 2025. The September B contract will open on the same day, closing on September 26, 2025, with settlement on September 30, 2025. The October B contract, similarly opening on August 7, 2025, will close on October 31, 2025, with settlement on November 4, 2025.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), it is important to note that there will be no price adjustment for the B contracts of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited. The company announcement dated August 1, 2025, confirms this.
The overlapping period for the mentioned security will span three trading days, from August 7 to August 11, 2025. During this period, trades in the shares of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited under the AUGB, SEPB, and OCTB contracts will not qualify for entitlements and will be transacted on an ex-benefit basis. The PSX retains the authority to alter the dates or modify the contracts if necessary.
