Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the revocation of the suspension of the Trading Right Entitlement (TRE) Certificate for Zafar Moti Capital Securities (Private) Limited. This decision comes following a recent order from the Honorable High Court of Sindh, dated July 22, 2025, which was in response to an appeal filed by the firm against an earlier Arbitration Award.
The suspension, which was initially communicated through PSX Notice No. PSX/N-702 on July 01, 2025, was imposed due to Zafar Moti Securities' non-compliance with the Arbitration Award within the stipulated timeframe. This development had raised concerns among market participants and stakeholders regarding the operational status of the firm within the designated market category.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the original suspension had been a point of contention, prompting Zafar Moti Securities to seek legal recourse through the judicial system. The High Court’s order has now facilitated the lifting of the suspension, thereby allowing the firm to resume its trading activities on the exchange.
The reinstatement of the TRE Certificate is expected to have implications for traders and investors associated with Zafar Moti Securities, as the firm re-engages with the market under its renewed operational status.
