Karachi: Sally Textile Mills Limited has reported a complete cessation of business operations during its third quarter, ending March 31, 2025, citing negative viability as the primary cause. The company, which operates within the textile sector, released its financial performance review, highlighting significant losses in the absence of any turnover.
The Directors' Review for the nine-month period ending March 31, 2025, revealed a gross loss of 21.89 million rupees, a slight improvement from the previous year's gross loss of 23.64 million rupees for the same period. However, the company's financial challenges persisted, with both the loss before and after tax recorded at 25.88 million rupees. This marks a considerable reduction in losses compared to the 75.06 million rupees reported for the corresponding period in 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sally Textile Mills Limited's operations were completely halted during the review period, contributing to the company's continued financial difficulties. Despite the absence of business activities, the directors acknowledged the commitment of the limited staff who have continued to manage the company's affairs amid the ongoing challenges.
The directors also extended their gratitude to the company's stakeholders for their sustained cooperation during this challenging period.
