Salman Noman Enterprises Reports Increased Losses in Recent Quarter

Lahore: Salman Noman Enterprises Ltd. disclosed its un-audited financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2024, revealing a challenging fiscal period with sustained losses.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company registered total operating expenses of Rs 5.89 million for the quarter, slightly down from Rs 6.20 million in the same quarter of the previous year. Despite this marginal reduction in expenses, the company reported a net loss of Rs 5.89 million for the period, compared to a loss of Rs 6.20 million year-over-year.

Loss per share also showed a slight improvement, decreasing from Rs 1.39 to Rs 1.32. However, the Board of Directors, in their meeting held on October 30, 2024, decided not to recommend any dividend, reflecting the ongoing financial strain.

Salman Noman Enterprises emphasized that these results would be transmitted through the Pakistan Unified Corporation Action Reporting System (PUCARS) in due course, ensuring transparency with shareholders and regulatory bodies.

The company's management has yet to outline specific measures to address the continued financial challenges, leaving stakeholders looking for signs of a strategic pivot in the coming quarters.
