Karachi: Sanghar Sugar Mills Limited has made several key appointments as announced in a board meeting held on November 8, 2023. The company has elected Mr. Ghulam Dastagir Rajar as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for a term of three years, starting from November 4, 2023. Mr. Ghulam Hyder has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, and Haji Khuda Bux Rajar as an Executive Director, each also for a term of three years beginning from the same date.

In addition, Haji Khuda Bux Rajar's remuneration as Executive Director has been set at Rs. 1,175,000 per month, including benefits and allowances. Following the Extraordinary General Meeting held on November 2, 2023, the company had previously informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange of the election of new directors, including Miss Misbah as Female Director, Mr. Mehmood Alam and Engr. M. Abdul Jabbar as Independent Directors, and others for the new term.

The Board of Directors has also re-constituted the Board's Committees, including the Audit Committee, Human Resource & Remuneration Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, with new members and chairpersons designated for each.
