Sardar Chemical Industries Posts Strong Fiscal Year Results

Karachi: Sardar Chemical Industries Limited has reported a robust performance for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, with significant increases in sales, operating profit, and net income. The company's financial results reveal a gross profit of 175.50 million rupees, up from 108.02 million rupees the previous year.

Sales for the 2024 fiscal year surged to 503.87 million rupees, reflecting a marked improvement from the 366.29 million rupees recorded in 2023. This growth is attributed to enhanced production efficiencies and an expanded market reach. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the cost of sales also increased but remained in proportion to revenue, totaling 328.36 million rupees.

Operating profit more than doubled to 90.32 million rupees, up from 42.92 million rupees in the preceding year, driven by higher sales and controlled administrative and selling expenses. Despite a rise in financial charges to 11.39 million rupees, Sardar Chemical maintained a strong profit before income tax, which stood at 76.98 million rupees.

After accounting for income taxes, the profit after tax reached 52.33 million rupees, a significant increase from 24.33 million rupees in 2023. The earnings per share consequently rose to 8.72 rupees, up from 4.05 rupees, reflecting the company's enhanced profitability and operational success.

These financial metrics indicate a resilient performance amidst challenging market conditions, with the company successfully capitalizing on strategic growth opportunities. The results underscore Sardar Chemical's robust financial health and its potential for sustained growth in the coming years.
