The meeting will take place in Islamabad, where shareholders will cast their votes to elect new directors.

In compliance with Section 159(3) of the Companies Act 2017, eight individuals initially filed their nominations to contest in the election. However, one nominee, Mr. Muhammad Waqar, has since withdrawn his application. As a result, the following seven candidates remain in the running: Syed Najmul Hasnain Kazmi, Mr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Mr. Muhammad Naeem Khan, Mr. Nayyar Alam Ilyas, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Ms. Parveen A Malik, and Ms. Lubna Farooq.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notice of the EOGM was published in two widely read national newspapers at least 21 days prior to the meeting date. Additionally, the notice was displayed on the PSX website via the PUCARS system and on the company's website. Individual notices, along with proxy forms, were dispatched to all registered shareholders in accordance with regulatory requirements established by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and the PSX.

The number of candidates who have confirmed their intention to stand for election aligns with the number of positions available, as determined by the company's board under Section 159(1) of the Companies Act 2017. Therefore, the seven aforementioned candidates are set to be elected as directors during the upcoming EOGM.
