Islamabad: Saudipak Consultancy Company Limited (SPLC) has announced the confirmation of the minutes from its 34th Annual General Meeting and the election of a new Board of Directors during its Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM-25), held on April 22, 2025. The meeting took place in Islamabad, marking significant developments for the company in the designated market category.
During the ordinary business segment of the gathering, the shareholders unanimously passed a resolution to confirm and adopt the minutes of the 34th Annual General Meeting conducted on October 11, 2024. This move was part of the agenda to ensure a seamless continuation of the company’s administrative functions.
A key agenda item was the election of seven directors in alignment with the Companies Act, 2017. The elected directors will serve a term of three years starting from the date of the EOGM-25. This election follows the decision made by SPLC's Board in its 179th Board of Directors meeting held on March 18, 2025.
With this election, the following directors were set to vacate their positions: Syed Najmul Hasnain Kazmi, Mr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Mr. Muhammad Waqar, and Mr. Muhammad Naeem Khan. However, the resolution passed during the EOGM confirmed the reelection of some of these individuals, namely Syed Najmul Hasnain Kazmi, Mr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, and Mr. Muhammad Naeem Khan, along with the election of new members Mr. Nayyar Alam Ilyas, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Ms. Parveen A Malik, and Ms. Lubna Farooq.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company ensured compliance with section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017, as each candidate had submitted the necessary documentation confirming their eligibility and willingness to serve on the Board.
These developments reflect SPLC's commitment to maintaining a structured and compliant governance framework, as it navigates its strategic objectives in the coming years.
