Karachi: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has reported several transactions involving shares of the company by Mr. Muhammad Suleyman Khan, spouse of Mrs. Sana Suleyman, a non-executive director of the firm.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions, executed on various dates in August 2024, involved substantial share movements at differing prices. The details reveal that Mr. Khan conducted sales ranging from a single share to thousands of shares, with prices per share increasing incrementally over several transactions.

On August 9, 2024, a series of sales were recorded where Mr. Khan disposed of shares at prices varying from Rs. 1,150.00 to Rs. 1,191.08. The total shares sold in these transactions amounted to substantial figures, specifically highlighted transactions included 15,000 shares at Rs. 1,150.00, and other significant batches like 10,000 shares at Rs. 1,180.00, and smaller amounts leading up to a single share sold at Rs. 1,190.30.

These transactions are registered under the Central Depository Company (CDC) and are categorized in the 'Ready' market, indicating they were prepared for immediate settlement.

Sazgar Engineering has confirmed that these transactions will be reviewed in the subsequent board meeting, with a focus on any potential non-compliance with the clause No. 5.6.1(d) of PSX Regulations. This clause mandates the disclosure of interests by directors, CEOs, executives, their spouses, and substantial shareholders in the trading of company shares.
