Karachi: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has announced the commencement of pre-bookings for its latest range of Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), marking a significant step in the company's expansion into the hybrid vehicle market. The information was disclosed following regulatory requirements under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1 (a) of PSX Regulations.

The company introduced the "HAVAL H6 Hi4 1.5L AT AWD Turbo PHEV" as its first model available for pre-booking starting today. The Completely Knocked Down (CKD) version of this vehicle is slated for its inaugural rollout in August 2025. This launch reflects the company's strategic move to diversify its automotive offerings and tap into the growing demand for hybrid vehicles in the market.

In addition to the Haval H6, Sazgar Engineering has unveiled plans to expand its hybrid range with two new models. The "TANK-500 Hi4-T 4X4 2.0L Turbo AT PHEV" SUV and the "CANNON ALPHA Hi4-T 4X4 2.0L Turbo AT PHEV" pickup truck are set to join the lineup. The first rollouts of these CKD models are projected to occur before March 31, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sazgar Engineering has communicated these developments to the Trading Right Entitlement (TRE) certificate holders, ensuring stakeholders are informed of the company's latest initiatives.

This move underscores Sazgar Engineering's commitment to innovation and its proactive approach in adapting to the evolving automotive industry landscape.
