Searle Company Executive Engages in Stock Transactions

Islamabad: The Searle Company Limited reported recent transactions involving shares by Moujood Ul Hassan, an executive of the company. These transactions occurred on July 9, 2024, and included both purchases and sales of the company's shares.

Moujood Ul Hassan bought 133 shares at a rate of 58.81 and sold 350 shares at a rate of 61.49. Both transactions were conducted on the ready market, and the shares were held in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions will be reviewed in the upcoming board meeting of The Searle Company Limited. The review will specifically address any potential non-compliance issues as stipulated under clause No. 5.6.1.(d) of PSX Regulations.

The company also confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeded six months. In cases where the holding period is less than six months, the executive is required to deposit a cheque equivalent to the profit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015. This procedure is also reported to PSX as part of regulatory compliance.
