SECP to Host Webinar on Transparency and Market Integrity for Securities Brokers

karachi: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has announced a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the capabilities of securities brokers in the country. According to a recent notification, the SECP's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Department is set to conduct a series of capacity-building sessions for its regulated entities.

Scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 3:30 PM, the upcoming webinar will focus on "Promoting Transparency and Market Integrity: Prudential and AML/CFT Compliances." This session is part of a broader effort by the SECP to ensure that securities brokers are well-versed in their prudential and AML/CFT obligations. The initiative underscores the importance of understanding and implementing legal requirements in the financial sector.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the SECP has emphasized the pivotal role that securities brokers play as key stakeholders in the industry.
