Secure Logistics Group Limited Announces Post-IPO Shareholder Structure

Karachi: Secure Logistics Group Limited (SLG), a prominent logistics and support services company, has disclosed its shareholding structure following its initial public offering (IPO). The IPO has introduced 50 million new shares, representing an 18.27% increase in the company's total shares, which now amount to 273.63 million.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the majority shareholders, or Sponsor Group, hold a total of 69.56 million shares, translating to a 25.42% ownership in the company. This group includes key figures such as Mr. Pervaiz Afzal Khan and Mr. Gulraiz Afzal Khan, who hold 17.64% and 7.79% of the total shares respectively.

Further details reveal that family members associated with the company control an additional 22.2% of the shares, with Ms. Mahnoor Afzal Khan and Mr. Saad Afzal Khan holding significant portions. Other notable shareholders include Karandaaz Pakistan and KBP Limited, with stakes of 16.60% and 16.95% respectively, forming part of the 34.1% ownership by other pre-IPO shareholders.

The company’s IPO attracted substantial interest from various investor segments. Institutional investors acquired 37.99% of the IPO shares, while large individual investors and smaller individual investors took 18.47% and 43.55% respectively.

SLG’s Board of Directors includes individuals with extensive experience across various industries. Mr. Pervaiz Afzal Khan, the head of support functions and an executive director, has over 40 years of experience in sectors ranging from investment banking to energy. He also serves on multiple boards and academic institutions. Mr. Gulraiz Afzal Khan, the CEO, brings a unique blend of military and corporate expertise to his role.
