Lahore: Security Papers Limited has announced a final cash dividend of Rs. 9.00 per share, equating to a 90% payout, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. This decision was finalized during a Board of Directors meeting held on July 30, 2026, in Lahore. The dividend, however, will be accounted for post the annual year-end and distributed to shareholders listed on the Register of Members as of September 18, 2026. The company has confirmed that its Share Transfer Books will remain closed from September 19 to September 25, 2026, for dividend processing purposes.
The financial statements, which exclude the effect of the declared dividend, were also presented. The company's assets revealed notable changes, with non-current assets rising to Rs. 6.96 billion from Rs. 5.82 billion in 2025, driven by significant increases in property, plant, and equipment. Conversely, long-term investments decreased to Rs. 2.48 billion from Rs. 3.81 billion.
Security Papers Limited reported a decline in revenue from contracts with customers to Rs. 7.31 billion from Rs. 7.87 billion the previous year. This decline contributed to a reduction in gross profit, which fell from Rs. 2.20 billion to Rs. 1.59 billion. The profit before taxation also decreased to Rs. 1.60 billion from Rs. 2.41 billion in the prior year. Despite the drop, the company maintained its commitment to shareholder returns with the declared dividend.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's total equity rose to Rs. 9.38 billion from Rs. 9.00 billion, while total liabilities increased to Rs. 2.73 billion from Rs. 2.35 billion. The statement of financial position revealed a minor move in property, plant, and equipment, which surged from Rs. 1.99 billion to Rs. 4.47 billion.
In addition, the company disclosed significant personnel changes, with the resignation of Mr. Yasir Ali Quraishi, the Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer, effective from the close of business on August 12, 2026. This resignation marks an important transition in the company's management structure.
