Karachi: SG Power Limited has released its financial results for the fiscal year 2024-2025, revealing a significant downturn compared to the previous year. The data, presented at the Corporate Briefing Session held on November 26, 2025, indicates a marked decline in the company's financial health.

The company reported sales of 6.15 million, a substantial decrease from the 17.30 million recorded in 2024. The cost of sales for the same period rose to 7.93 million from 14.97 million, contributing to a gross profit loss of 1.79 million, a reversal from the 2.33 million profit posted the previous year.

Administrative and selling expenses saw a notable increase, rising to 6.62 million from 660,686. Financial charges also increased slightly, reaching 3,453 from 2,315. These factors culminated in a loss before taxation of 8.40 million, a stark contrast to the 1.67 million profit before taxation noted in 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's loss after taxation mirrored its pre-tax loss, standing at 8.40 million, compared to a post-tax profit of 1.67 million in the previous year.
