Karachi: The Bank of Khyber has reported the loss of several share certificates, as detailed in a notification by THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited, dated September 1, 2026. The report outlines specific losses associated with two distinct folio numbers, 54529 and 37204, with individuals residing in Karachi having notified the losses.
For Folio Number 54529, Nasrullah Soomro of Gulistan e Johar, Karachi East, reported the loss of certificates totaling 454 shares. The specific certificates were numbered from 154321 to 271050, with distinctive numbers ranging from 453555915 to 1138279697. The quantities of shares in these lost certificates varied, with 152, 71, 92, 46, 48, and 45 shares respectively.
In connection to Folio Number 37204, S.M Khurshid, son of Abdul Mjid Siddiqui of North Karachi, notified the loss of certificates accounting for a total of 465 shares. The certificates, numbered from 196183 to 265565, have distinctive numbers ranging from 71338336 to 1138106007, with individual share quantities of 185, 92, 97, and 91 respectively.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), members have been advised not to engage in dealings involving these lost certificates. Should no objections be raised within seven days from the date of notice, duplicate certificates will be issued to the concerned parties.
This notification serves as a precautionary measure to prevent unauthorized transactions and to ensure transparency among the members of the exchange. The designated market category for this notification remains within the formal structure of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
