Karachi: Shezan International Limited has confirmed its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on October 26, 2024, at its registered office on Bund Road, Lahore, and virtually via Zoom. This meeting is set to address several crucial agendas including the ratification and approval of past and future transactions with related parties.
The upcoming AGM is particularly significant as it seeks to confirm the minutes of the last meeting, adopt the audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024, and reappoint external auditors with fixed remuneration for the 2024-25 financial year. These items represent the ordinary business to be transacted, maintaining compliance and transparency in the company's financial practices.

These involve ratifying past transactions as disclosed in the company's financial statements and authorizing future transactions for the upcoming fiscal year. The resolutions aim to ensure that all such dealings are carried out under approved policies, irrespective of changes in the board's composition.
This AGM will also open discussions on any other business that may arise, with the Chair's permission, highlighting the flexible and dynamic nature of the meeting to address evolving corporate needs.
The resolutions are set to be published in major newspapers, Business Recorder in English and Nawa-i-Waqt in Urdu, on October 4, 2024, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed ahead of the meeting.
