Karachi: Siemens AG, the substantial shareholder in Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Company Ltd., has executed significant transactions to increase its stake in the company. According to a disclosure under PSX Regulation 5.6.4, the transactions were conducted earlier this month.

On June 5, 2025, Siemens AG purchased one share at a rate of 1,516.00, which brought the cumulative number of shares held to 7,669,029. This acquisition raised their holding to 92.99 percent of the company's total shares. Subsequently, on June 10, 2025, Siemens AG executed another purchase of 1,681 shares at the same rate of 1,516.00. This transaction increased their cumulative shareholding to 7,670,710, representing a 93.01 percent stake in Siemens Pakistan.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are part of Siemens AG's ongoing strategy to consolidate its control over its Pakistani subsidiary. The designated market category for these transactions is the CDC Ready market.
