Karachi: Siemens Engineering Co. Ltd., based in Karachi, has announced a significant change in its board of directors. According to a company notification issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, effective September 30, 2024, Mr. Harald Griem has resigned from his position as a Director of Siemens Pakistan.

Ms. Silvia Oppus has been co-opted as a Director of Siemens Pakistan following Mr. Griem's resignation. This appointment, effective from October 1, 2024, addresses the vacancy created by Mr. Griem's departure. Ms. Oppus will serve for the remainder of the term initially assigned to Mr. Griem.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has communicated this change to its shareholders and the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange. Siemens Pakistan's corporate secretary, Khurram Muhammad Siddique, signed the official notification, which also indicates that the company aims for a smooth transition in its leadership.
