Karachi: Soneri Bank Limited has announced that it will disburse its final cash dividend for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2024, directly into the designated bank accounts of its shareholders. The dividend, approved at the bank's 33rd Annual General Meeting on March 13, 2025, amounts to Rs. 1.75 per share, or 17.50%, and is scheduled to be credited on March 24, 2025.

The bank has emphasized that only shareholders who have submitted their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) and valid International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) will receive the dividend payments. In compliance with the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, and Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, the dividend amount for shareholders who have not provided this information will be withheld.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Soneri Bank will publish notices in the Business Recorder and Daily Nawa-e-Waqt newspapers (combined editions for Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad) on March 25, 2025. This step complies with Regulation No. 5.6.9 of the PSX Regulations, which mandates prior transmission of such notices.

The announcement calls for the dissemination of this information among the Trading Rights Entitlement Certificate (TRE Certificate) Holders of the Exchange, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the dividend disbursement process and requirements.
