Lahore: Soneri Bank Limited has announced the election of its new Board of Directors following its 34th Annual General Meeting held on March 12, 2026. The meeting took place at the bank’s office located on the 2nd Floor of 307-Upper Mall Scheme, Lahore, and was also accessible via video-link through Zoom.
The newly elected board members, who have been chosen unopposed, include Mr. Amin A. Feerasta, Mr. Nooruddin Feerasta, Mr. Ahmed A. Feerasta, Mr. Manzoor Ahmed, Mr. Jamil Hassan Hamdani, Ms. Navin Salim Merchant, and Dr. Sohail Razi Khan. Among these, Mr. Manzoor Ahmed is nominated by the National Investment Trust (NIT), while Ms. Navin Salim Merchant and Dr. Sohail Razi Khan are designated as independent directors.
The directors will serve for a three-year term starting from March 28, 2026. Their appointments are pending clearance by the State Bank of Pakistan, as they must meet the requirements outlined in the Fit & Proper Test under the Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework.
