Karachi: Soneri Bank Limited has announced the scheduled closure of its Term Finance Certificates (TFC) holders' registry to facilitate the payment of the fifth profit installment on its TFC-III series. This decision, approved by the bank's Board of Directors, will see the register closed from June 13, 2025, to June 26, 2025, for the purpose of determining the profit entitlement. The profit will be disbursed semiannually on the outstanding principal amount of TFC-III.
According to the bank's announcement, the profit payments will be processed digitally, credited directly into the bank accounts of TFC holders whose names appear in the register as of the close of business on June 12, 2025. Transfers that are received at the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent of the Bank in Karachi by the close of business on June 12, 2025, will be considered timely for profit entitlement.
Soneri Bank has maintained its instrument rating at A+ with a stable outlook, as confirmed by the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA). The bank has emphasized that there has been no change in this rating.
In compliance with the regulations of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Rule Book, the bank has prepared a draft notice for publication. This notice will be available in both English and Urdu and is scheduled to be published in the Business Recorder and Nawa-e-Waqt on May 21, 2025. The term finance certificates, designated as TFC-III, will undergo both redemption and profit payment on June 26, 2025.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transfer book related to these certificates will remain closed for a specified period. TFC holders are advised to notify any changes to their address promptly to ensure seamless communication and processing of their entitlements.
