Karachi: First Elite Capital Modaraba has disclosed significant share transactions by a substantial shareholder and the spouse of an independent director, as per the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations. This disclosure comes under the PSX Regulation 5.6.4, which mandates transparency in reporting shareholdings by directors, executives, and their close associates.
According to the official records, Nauman Rathore, a substantial shareholder in First Elite Capital Modaraba, executed two separate transactions in late April and early May 2025. On April 30, Rathore acquired 12,678 shares of the company at a rate of 12.63 per share. This purchase increased his cumulative holdings to 5,317,958 shares, representing a 46.90% stake in the company.
On May 2, Rathore further increased his holdings by purchasing an additional 14,474 shares at a rate of 13.94 per share. This transaction raised his cumulative share total to 5,332,432 shares, equating to a 47.02% ownership of the company.
Additionally, Ayesha Aslam, the spouse of Sheikh Muhammad Ali Asif, an independent director of the company, bought 20 shares on May 2 at a price of 13.95 per share. Her cumulative holdings now stand at 30 shares, which represents a negligible percentage of ownership in the company.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were conducted in the ready market category, utilizing the Central Depository Company (CDC) form of share certificates.
These disclosures highlight the ongoing adjustments in the ownership structure of First Elite Capital Modaraba, reflecting the active involvement of its substantial shareholders and affiliated persons in the company's equity dynamics.
