Substantial Shareholder of Service Industries Limited Reduces Stake Amid Big Move in Share Price

Karachi: Service Industries Limited has disclosed a series of share transactions executed by a substantial shareholder, the CDC - Trustee National Investment (Unit) Trust, under Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulation 5.6.4. The transactions, occurring between November 27, 2025, and December 1, 2025, exhibit a notable reduction in shareholding.

According to the statement dated December 4, 2025, the transactions involved the sale of a total of 53,500 shares by the substantial shareholder. The sales were executed in three separate transactions, affecting the cumulative shareholding and percentage held by the CDC - Trustee National Investment (Unit) Trust in Service Industries Limited.

On November 27, 2025, the shareholder sold 10,000 shares at a rate of 1,447.61 per share, reducing their cumulative shareholding to 5.09 million shares, representing a 10.84% cumulative percentage. The subsequent transaction on November 28, 2025, involved the sale of 40,000 shares at 1,582.42 per share, further reducing the cumulative shareholding to 5.05 million shares and a 10.75% cumulative percentage. The final transaction on December 1, 2025, saw the sale of 3,500 shares, bringing the cumulative shareholding to 5.05 million shares at a 10.74% cumulative percentage.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were classified as a big move due to the impact on the shareholding percentage. The transactions will be presented by the Company Secretary at the upcoming Board of Directors meeting, and the requisite details will be updated in the UIN Management System as per regulatory requirements.

The disclosure also reminds the concerned parties of the holding period requirements and the prohibition of transactions by directors, CEOs, or executives during the closed period, as mandated by the Securities Act, 2015.
