Karachi: Quice Food Industries Limited has disclosed recent share transactions involving its substantial shareholder, Mohammad Munir Mohammad Ahmed Khanani Securities Limited, according to a report dated June 5, 2026. The transactions were carried out in compliance with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations, specifically under clause 5.6.4.
The first transaction, executed on March 16, 2026, involved the purchase of 7,680 shares at a rate of 23.00 Pakistani Rupees per share. This acquisition brought the cumulative shareholding to 14.58 million, accounting for 14.81% of the company’s total shares. Subsequently, on March 24, 2026, a sale of an equal number of shares was conducted at a rate of 22.00 Pakistani Rupees per share, slightly adjusting the cumulative holding to 14.57 million shares, representing 14.80% of the stake.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the movement in percentage of shareholding is classified as a minor move. The transactions will be discussed at an upcoming board meeting, where any non-compliance issues will be addressed in accordance with PSX regulations.
The holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. However, should it fall within this period, any profit generated will be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in line with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, and duly reported to the PSX.
