Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced a temporary suspension of trading for the Government Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) P01GIS250425 in anticipation of its maturity payment. The 1-year sukuk, issued on April 26, 2024, is set to mature on April 25, 2025, and its maturity payment is scheduled for the same date. According to the PSX, the trading suspension will commence on April 22, 2025, and will remain effective until April 24, 2025. Additionally, the Central Depository Company (CDC) has announced a shut period for movements in Sub Accounts and Investor Accounts from April 23 to April 24, 2025.
