Suspension of Trading for JS Bank’s Term Finance Certificate Announced

Karachi: JS Bank Limited has announced a temporary suspension of trading for its Term Finance Certificate [JSBLTFC4] due to the upcoming book closure period for its fourth profit payment. The suspension will be in effect from August 16, 2024, until August 30, 2024, with trading set to resume on September 2, 2024.

The bank specified that the book closure dates, which facilitate the profit payment process for certificate holders, are scheduled from August 17, 2024, to August 30, 2024. This book closure is a routine part of managing term finance certificates, allowing the bank to finalize the profit distributions.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the suspension is a standard procedure to ensure that all transactions are settled before the profit distribution commences. JS Bank Limited has made this announcement to inform and prepare all stakeholders, urging all concerned parties to note the trading halt dates.

This temporary suspension affects only the specific term finance certificate [JSBLTFC4] issued by JS Bank Limited. Trading activities for other securities and instruments on the Pakistan Stock Exchange will continue as usual during this period.
