Karachi: The Board of Directors at Symmetry Group Limited has released its annual report detailing a noteworthy financial performance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The report, dated October 12, 2026, provides an in-depth review of the company's strategic and operational progress, financial achievements, and future prospects.
According to the report, the group's consolidated net revenue increased by a significant 33.6 percent, reaching PKR 1,025.6 million, compared to PKR 767.4 million in the previous fiscal year. This achievement marks the first time the company has crossed the PKR 1 billion revenue threshold. Gross profit rose to PKR 499.2 million from PKR 417.6 million, while operating profit increased to PKR 272.9 million from PKR 216.3 million. Profit after taxation was reported at PKR 215.3 million, up from PKR 170.5 million last year, with earnings per share climbing to PKR 0.76 from PKR 0.60.
The financial performance of Symmetry Group was buoyed by robust activities across its existing portfolio and the expansion of its domestic market, as well as continued export activities. Notably, the gross profit margin moderated to 48.7 percent from 54.4 percent, attributed to increased employee costs and depreciation due to additional rented office capacity.
In April 2026, the company commenced new assignments with Jazz and JazzCash, contributing to revenue and operating costs for the latter part of the year. The board highlighted the timing of these projects as crucial in evaluating the year's results and the correlation between added capacity and recognized revenue.
The group's total equity, inclusive of non-controlling interests, ended the year at PKR 2,361.6 million, with cash and bank balances totaling PKR 553.9 million. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Symmetry Group's performance is categorized in the Information Technology sector.
The board has recommended a final cash dividend of 10 percent for FY2026, subject to shareholder approval. This proposal is an increase from the 5 percent cash dividend distributed in FY2025 and reflects the board's approach to balancing immediate returns with the need to support future growth.
Strategically, Symmetry Group continued to follow the four pillars set out in FY2025: strengthening core services, investing in proprietary platforms, driving scale and credibility through partnerships, and expanding markets. The fiscal year also saw the incorporation of Aurion Al Limited, which transitioned from a private to a public company in 2026. Aurion's IPO application was submitted on July 28, 2026, although the listing remains subject to approval.
Export revenue for FY2026 was reported at PKR 435.5 million, accounting for 42.5 percent of consolidated net revenue. The company remains committed to maintaining a diverse geographic revenue stream while growing its domestic footprint.
Symmetry Group's focus on innovation has seen the incorporation of Affair Studio (Private) Limited and the transfer of CartSight and Influsense to Aurion, although these products are still in the pilot stage. The group aims to improve execution and cost efficiency while developing offerings that promise additional income streams subject to market validation.
The annual report also details the company's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies, aligning with sustainable development goals related to gender equality, industry and innovation, and climate action. The company continues to focus on inclusivity and equal opportunity within its workforce as part of its broader strategic objectives.
The board's oversight of risk management continues to address delivery and client concentration, data security, and regulatory compliance, among other concerns. These risk management strategies are detailed further in the report, aimed at supporting the company's ongoing development and growth.
