Lahore: In an important update for stakeholders, Synthetic Products Enterprises Limited has announced a rescheduling of its upcoming board meeting originally set for 12 October 2024. The board of directors will convene on the same date to review the quarterly accounts for the period ended 30 September 2024, which could lead to declarations regarding shareholder entitlements.
The timing adjustment comes in conjunction with a "Closed Period" mandated from 05 October to 12 October 2024, as specified under clause 5.6 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulations. This period restricts all directors, CEOs, and executives from trading company shares, a standard practice designed to prevent insider trading ahead of major financial disclosures.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), such regulations are critical in maintaining fair trading practices and ensuring that all market participants have equal access to information.
The company has advised TRE Certificate Holders of the exchange about these updates, ensuring that all involved parties are aware of the new schedule and the restrictions in place during the Closed Period.
