MUZAFFARGARH: Tata Textile Mills Limited has announced the successful completion and commencement of operations at its Muzaffargarh Plant, known as Unit-M01. This development follows the company's Balancing, Modernization, and Replacement (BMR) project, as confirmed on July 6, 2026.
The company, in a prior communication dated October 1, 2025, had indicated its intention to enhance its operational capabilities through the installation of new machinery. The BMR project involved the integration of LMW Ring Spinning Machines and a Temsan Air Conditioning System, which are expected to increase the spindle capacity at the plant. This marks a significant upgrade to the facility and aligns with Tata Textile Mills Limited's strategic objectives.
The Muzaffargarh plant has now begun the regular production of knitting yarn, a move that represents a forward step for the company in expanding its production capabilities. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this update is being shared under Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and complies with Clause 5.6.1(a) of the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.
The textile industry, a designated market category crucial to the region, will likely be impacted by this development as Tata Textile Mills Limited enhances its operational efficiency and product output.
