Technical Committee Formed to Address Korangi Creek Fire Incident

Karachi: In response to the recent fire incident at Korangi Creek, a technical committee has been constituted by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) to oversee assessment and containment efforts. This development follows an earlier announcement made on April 3, 2025, and involves collaboration among several key stakeholders.

The committee comprises representatives from Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), and Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL). These organizations will work in unison to ensure swift and effective resolution of the incident.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the TPL REIT Fund I has expressed full support for this collaborative initiative.
