Karachi: Thatta Cement Company Limited has disclosed a significant strategic development involving its wholly owned subsidiary, Minsk Work Tractor & Assembling (Private) Limited (MWTA). On October 20, 2025, the company announced that MWTA has entered into an Exclusive Agreement with OJSC Minsk Tractor Works from the Republic of Belarus. This agreement grants MWTA exclusive rights to assemble BELARUS tractors within the Province of Balochistan.
The initiative is set to foster local industrial growth, create employment opportunities, and facilitate technology transfer through the establishment of a tractor assembly facility in Balochistan. This project is anticipated to bolster the long-term growth and diversification of Thatta Cement Group’s business portfolio.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the agreement marks a crucial step for the company’s subsidiary, positioning MWTA as a key player in the local production of tractors in Balochistan.
