Karachi: K-Electric Limited has declared a temporary suspension of trading for its Sukuk, identified as [KELSC5], spanning from July 25, 2024, until August 02, 2024, with trading set to resume on August 05, 2024. This halt coincides with the book closure scheduled from July 26, 2024, to August 02, 2024, for the 16th profit payment on this Sukuk.

The suspension serves as a procedural step in anticipation of the profit disbursement associated with the Sukuk. K-Electric has informed all stakeholders and concerned parties to make note of these dates and the trading pause.
