Trading Suspension of LSE SPAC-I Limited Announced Amid Amalgamation Process

Karachi: Trading in the shares of LSE SPAC-I Limited is set to be suspended starting Tuesday, October 20, 2026, as part of the corporate restructuring involving its merger with Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited. The announcement was made following the Lahore High Court's approval of the Scheme of Arrangement for this amalgamation, which was sanctioned on September 30, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the suspension is intended to facilitate the entitlement process for shares of Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited. The shareholders of LSE SPAC-I Limited, identified on the PSX under the ticker SPAC1, will be allotted 1.50 shares of NGLE for every 1 share of SPAC1 they hold. This allocation is part of the terms established under the Scheme of Arrangement.

The final dates for the Book Closure have been set from October 21, 2026, to October 22, 2026, as communicated by SPAC1 in a letter dated October 13, 2026. These dates have been made public through notifications on the PSX's PUCARS system.

Following the successful implementation of these requirements, SPAC1 will be delisted from the exchange. A separate notice will be issued to confirm the delisting process. The designated market category for this transaction is the entitlement of shares due to corporate restructuring.
