Trust Securities & Brokerage Limited Seeks Licenses for Virtual Asset Services

Karachi: Trust Securities & Brokerage Limited (TSBL) has announced its Board of Directors' decision to apply for necessary licenses from the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) to undertake Virtual Asset Services. The date of the report was September 25, 2026. This move aligns with the provisions of the Virtual Assets Act, 2026, which oversees the licensing and regulation of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) in Pakistan.

TSBL aims to explore opportunities in the expanding virtual asset sector by seeking licenses for Custody Services, Exchange Services, and Virtual Asset Transfer and Settlement Services. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the applications will be processed in accordance with the regulatory framework established by PVARA, which is responsible for the licensing and supervision of VASPs.

The initiative is subject to obtaining all necessary approvals and licenses from PVARA and other relevant authorities.
